Abstract：Objective:To study effect of treatment of ZUOGUEI Pill on osteoporosis.Method:the overiectomy-induced osteoporosis rat model was Adopted.TBV%,TRS%,TFS%,AFS%,MAR BFR,OWS and mAR in shankbone were measured by bone histomorphometry.Result:After rats have been spaied,TBV% in sharkbone reduced markedly,but FRS%,TFS%,AFS% MAR,BFR,OWS and mAR heightened markendly.It shows:the osteoporosis induced by ovariectomy is the high transformation type which bone absorption in higher than bone formation.After the osteoporosis rats have been taken with ZUOGUEI Pill,TBV% in sharkbone heightened markedly,and FRS%,TFS%,AFS%,MAR,BFR,OWS and mAR reduced markendly.Conclusion:ZUOGUEI Pill can treat ostoporosis.
