Abstract：There is an essential distinction,which results from different starting points in the investigation of human body,between traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine in theory. Following up reverse route of study,investigations in traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine are usually carried out at different anatomic levels.In the present paper the comparative analysis of the fundamentals of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine has been performed in view of biological holographic law,and their consistence has been examined from the viewpoint of anatomy. A new idea to study the fundamental theory of the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine has been proposed.
