Abstract：Free radicals injury in cultured cardiac cells from neonatal rats was induced by X-XOD system.The experiment were carried out to observe ultrastructure changes of cardiac cells by adding to LBPS (12.5μg/ml) under electron microscope.The results showed that ultrastructure of the cardiac cells in X-XOD system damaged significantly.But,while those of cardiac cells added with LBPS remained with no obvious changes as compared with the normal shapes.This indicated that LBPS has a protective effect on free radicals injury of cardiac cells.
