Abstract:Street lamp facilities are a crucial component of urban infrastructure, and the integrity of their anti-corrosion coatings directly determines the safety performance of the overall structure.During long-term service,anti-corrosion coatings are affected by environmental factors such as ultraviolet radiation, temperature cycles, and humidity changes, leading to failure phenomena like oxidation reactions and chemical degradation, which cause defects including blistering, peeling, and cracking in the coatings. After coating failure, corrosive media come into direct contact with the metal substrate, thereby accelerating the corrosion process and triggering key issues such as thinning of the lamp pole wall thickness, stress concentration at the lamp arm connection, and reduced sealing performance of the control box.Studies have shown that there is a positive correlation between the coating peeling rate and the metal corrosion depth. When the coating protection failure reaches a certain level, the structural load-bearing capacity decreases significantly, the bending strength declines, and the fatigue life is greatly reduced. This seriously affects the structural safety of street lamp facilities and poses a potential threat to the stable operation of the urban lighting system.
