A Strategic Study on the Lighting Renovation of Existing Venues Based on the Volleyball Events of the 15th National Games and the Paralympic Special Olympics

Abstract：With the continuous improvement of venue lighting requirements for large-scale sports events,the renovation of existing venue lighting has become a key link to meet the needs of events and enhance the comprehensive functions of venues.This article takes the gymnasium of South China Agricultural University as the research object,combined with the lighting requirements of the 15th National Games and the Paralympic Volleyball Tournament in 2025.By analyzing the current lighting situation before the venue renovation,comparing the renovation design plan with the actual inspection results,the core strategy of lighting renovation for existing venues is systematically studied.Research has shown that the renovation needs to focus on the lighting standards for sports events,and promote it from four dimensions:optimization of lighting parameters,equipment selection and adaptation,construction of intelligent control systems,and meeting the special needs of disabled and special Olympic events.At the same time,it should also take into account the multifunctional utilization and energy-saving benefits after the renovation.After the renovation,all lighting indicators of the venue have met the requirements of Grade V(TV broadcasting of major international competitions)in JGJ 153-2016"Design and Testing Standards for Sports Venue Lighting"and relevant specifications for the construction of National Games venues,providing reference for the lighting renovation of similar existing venues serving large-scale events.
