Abstract：This study investigates the application of environmental sensing and energy-saving control technologies in IoT-based lighting systems,covering IoT architecture,core environmental sensing technologies,and implementation pathways for energy-efficient control.The research aims to advance smart city development and green building practices.Methodologically,it analyzes the three-tier IoT architecture,examines key environmental sensing technologies such as illuminance and human presence detection,and establishes adaptive brightness adjustment mechanisms to reduce energy consumption,extend equipment lifespan,and achieve high-efficiency energy conservation.
