Analysis of the Impact of Digital Technology-Based Lighting Design on Cost Control in Construction Projects

Abstract：This study aims to explore the influence of digital lighting design on cost management in construction projects.By employing lighting simulation,BIM technology,and energy consumption analysis,the research investigates the cost control mechanisms of digital lighting design during the design,construction,and operation stages,with validation through a comparative case study.The results indicate that the digital approach significantly reduces initial project investment,effectively minimizes rework and waste during the construction phase,and achieves substantial savings in energy consumption and maintenance costs over the long-term operation,demonstrating notable advantages in whole-life-cycle costs.
