Research on the Design of Aging-Friendly Smart Monitoring Lamps Based on the Mapping of"Behavior-Parameter-Service"

Abstract:This study addresses the challenges of an accelerating aging population in China, where the proportion of solo-living seniors is rising and care needs are diversifying.Current elderly-oriented monitoring technologies often overemphasize hardware and standardization, leading to low user compliance and privacy concerns. To tackle these issues,we propose a"behavior-parameter-service"tripartite framework, developing a smart monitoring system embedded in household lighting fixtures. This system perceives daily behaviors, analyzes data through dynamic modeling, and activates tailored services.By integrating products, communities, and institutions,it shifts elderly care monitoring from"explicit monitoring"to"implicit guardianship",providing support for the realization of an aging-friendly ecosystem that combines functionality with humanistic care.
