Abstract:To enhance the design quality of children's desk lamps in terms of health, safety, and human-device compatibility, this study aims to systematically identify the core design needs of"Generation Alpha"users.First,a design demand evaluation framework was developed through literature review,296 valid questionnaires, and semi-structured interviews, resulting in four primary criteria and sixteen sub-criteria.Then,the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)was applied, engaging 10 groups of child user families and 10 experts from relevant fields to evaluate indicator weights and determine the relative importance of each criterion.Blue light protection, engaging form, brightness adjustment, and intuitive operation were identified as top-priority design needs. The proposed evaluation system and methodological approach provide a theoretical foundation and empirical support for the innovative and user-centered design of children's desk lamps.
