Abstract:This study explores a method for measuring the luminous flux and lumen efficacy of luminaires with large non-luminous housings using an integrating sphere system. The photometric parameters of two LED fishing luminaires were measured using an Everfine HAAS-1200 integrating sphere through three methods:direct measurement, wrapping non-luminous surfaces with white paper, and wrapping with aluminum foil. Results indicate that measurements obtained directly through integration sphere testing exhibited significant underestimation exceeding 15%.When non-luminous surfaces were wrapped with aluminum foil before measurement, results for both fishing lure lamps approached reference values(with underestimations of 3.2%and 0.6%respectively),reducing deviations to an acceptable range. The reason why aluminum foil wrapping can reduce measurement errors was analyzed with reflectivity of materials.
