Research on the Reliability Renovation Practice of Road Lighting 10 kV Distribution System:A Case Study of Shenzhen
CAI Zitao
Abstract:In response to the poor operational reliability of the existing 10 kV distribution system, the lighting management department of Shenzhen implemented a highly effective renovation project.Based on this empirical case study, this paper analyzes the characteristics of the original road lighting 10 kV distribution network in Shenzhen, which featured"long dedicated feeders with multiple series-connected transformers,"and the consequent systemic flaws that led to low power supply reliability. The project followed the overarching principle of"decommissioning dedicated feeders and integrating them into the public grid at nearest points"to carry out a systematic overhaul of the road lighting distribution system, while simultaneously phasing out obsolete,high-energy-consumption equipment. This research delves into the complexities of executing municipal engineering projects in the core areas of megacities, summarize.
