Abstract：Commercial buildings are comprehensive spaces for shopping,leisure,sightseeing,gatherings,entertainment and even enjoying nightlife.To create a lively shopping atmosphere and mood to stimulate night consumption,efforts can be made to start with the outdoor lighting of commercial buildings.This study explores how outdoor lighting design can enhance a shopping mall's nighttime appeal to customers,strengthen brand identity,and foster a vibrant shopping atmosphere to stimulate evening consumption.Taking Wuhan SKP as a case study,the research analyzes lighting requirements across different project phases,including the refinement of lighting concept schemes,simulation and validation using DIALux Evo,inspection and approval of luminaire samples,comparative evaluation and control of on-site mock-up sections,and the development and regulation of on-site animation color rhythms.Through a comparative analysis of design schematics,simulation results,and as-built outcomes,this paper demonstrates a high degree of consistency among the three,validating the precision and scientific rigor of the End-to-end approach from design to construction.The findings provide valuable insights for nightscape lighting design in commercial architecture.
