Practice and Reflections on the Testing and Evaluation of First-set(s)Equipment in the New Display Industry

Abstract：With the rapid development of China's new display industry,achieving independent control of key manufacturing equipment has become essential to enhancing the overall competitiveness of the industrial chain.The testing and evaluation of major first-set(s)technical equipment serve as a critical driver for promoting the localization of high-end equipment,accelerating technological innovation,and facilitating industrial upgrading.Based on the project"Conducting Testing and Evaluation of First-Set(s)Technical Equipment in the New Display Industry,"this paper systematically elaborates on the theoretical foundation and practical pathway for establishing a testing and evaluation system for first-set(s)equipment in the new display field under the guidance of national policies.Furthermore,it explores the theory and methodology of testing and evaluation,constructs a comprehensive indicator system encompassing three dimensions—technological innovation,quality level,and expected benefits—and formulates specific technical specifications for four categories of key equipment:welding,repair,cutting,and bending.Through practical case studies involving trial evaluations of equipment from representative enterprises,the complete process,key steps,and achieved outcomes of the testing and evaluation are demonstrated.Finally,addressing issues identified during project implementation,this paper proposes systematic reflections and suggestions on further refining and deepening the testing and evaluation of first-set(s)equipment to promote high-quality industrial development.The study aims to provide theoretical reference and practical insights for the promotion and application of first-set(s)equipment in China's new display industry and other strategic emerging industries.
