Introduction to the Quantification Method of Carbon Footprint for Lighting Products Based on GB/T 45818-2025

Abstract：Recently,China has released the national standard GB/T 45818-2025"Greenhouse gases-Quantification methodologies and requirements for carbon footprint of product-Lighting products",which provides a unified and standardized technical framework for the quantification of carbon footprint and partial carbon footprint of lighting products.Based on the GB/T 45818-2025 standard,this article introduces the steps for quantifying the carbon footprint of lighting products and,through case analysis,demonstrates the process of quantifying the full life cycle carbon footprint of lighting products,hoping to provide some assistance to lighting enterprises in quantifying their carbon footprint.
