Analysis of Lighting Industry Exports in the First Half of 2025

Abstract：In the first half of 2025,China's lighting product exports fell by approximately 6%year-on-year.Nevertheless,the sector demonstrated notable resilience,with export value still 23%higher than the same period in 2019.The structure of exports continued to improve,as emerging categories such as LED decorative lighting,PV-integrated outdoor luminaires,and LED modules showed strong growth,becoming key drivers of performance.Market patterns also evolved,with traditional markets in Europe and North America delivering mixed results,while emerging markets including ASEAN and Africa contributed more significantly to export growth.Despite challenges such as volume-driven growth with price compression,trade barriers,and product quality issues,the industry stabilized amid adjustments and is transitioning toward higher value-added products.
