Research on the Optimization of Lighting Design for Urban Road Tunnels

Abstract：In recent years,with the continuous advancement of urban transportation construction,tunnels,as an important part of the urban expressway system,have attracted increasing attention to their lighting design.Lighting must not only meet basic functional requirements but also ensure driving comfort and safety.As a key expressway in central Shanghai,the Beiheng Passage has received public feedback regarding discomfort caused by tunnel lighting.Based on this project,this paper systematically analyzes the key factors of tunnel lighting design through case studies,exploring the effects of lighting uniformity,fixture arrangement,glare control,and auxiliary lighting.By comparing measured data and simulation results of different sections,optimization strategies are proposed to adapt to future needs,providing references for urban tunnel lighting design.
