Research on the Application of GIS Technology in Urban Lighting Field

Abstract：GIS technology provides key support for urban lighting management by virtue of its spatial analysis capabilities,data management capabilities,visual monitoring capabilities,data analysis and prediction capabilities,and plays a significant role in improving the accuracy of lighting monitoring,strengthening fault prediction and response,and optimizing energy management.This paper discusses the application effectiveness of GIS technology in the fine management of urban lighting,the safety of lighting facilities,the management of operation and maintenance,and the management of decision analysis.The application of GIS technology is demonstrated,which not only improves the efficiency of urban lighting monitoring,but also makes a positive contribution to the design optimization,the reduction of operating costs and the improvement of public service level of urban lighting.
