Experimental Investigation into the Comprehensive Advantages of a Tunnel Lighting System Powered by Direct Current

Abstract：The DC power supply system features stable power supply,high energy conversion efficiency,constant current output,and low maintenance and installation costs.It is widely employed in domains such as urban landscaping and outdoor road lighting.In contrast to the traditional AC power supply lighting in highway tunnels,it remains to be verified whether the DC power supply lighting technology retains its distinctive advantages when applied to highway tunnel lighting and whether it fulfills requirements such as safety and comfort.Hence,in this paper,an experimental analysis approach is adopted to configure the DC power supply for the highway tunnel lighting system and conduct a comparative analysis of its lighting quality with the traditional AC power supply system.The analysis reveals that the DC power supply tunnel lighting system boasts advantages such as high power,high illuminance,superior power quality,and precise dimming.
