Abstract:Existing smart dimming solutions are difficult to adapt to dynamic scenarios such as sudden changes in traffic flow and extreme weather due to the single dimension of sensor data and insufficient redundancy in communication architecture. The rapid development of Internet of Things(IoT)technology provides a new way for multi-source sensing and real-time decision-making.Millimeter-wave radar, infrared thermal imaging and other devices can accurately capture the density of pedestrian and vehicular traffic, while the hybrid networking technology of NB-IoT and LoRaWAN breaks through the bottleneck of low-power wide-area coverage. Therefore, this paper discusses the dynamic dimming mechanism of street lighting system driven by multimodal sensing data,in the expectation of constructing a synergistic optimization framework that takes into account energy efficiency and lighting quality, and providing theoretical and practical basis for the green transformation of smart city infrastructure.
