Abstract:The acoustic and optical conditions within underground spaces substantially influence occupants'psychological and physiological well-being.This research aims to examine the acoustic characteristics and lighting specifications of underground spaces via a literature review and discuss the potential impacts of acoustic-optical interactions on residents'perception and behavior.Empirical studies demonstrate that enhancing auditory landscape design with acoustic-absorptive materials and natural sounds, along with the deployment of intelligent lighting technology, can substantially improve the quality of occupants'interaction, psychological well-being,and operational efficiency.Despite this, there is a dearth of systematic research on the interplay between sound and light.Future research should focus on interdisciplinary approaches, combining health surveillance and technological innovation to provide robust theoretical frameworks and practical guidelines for underground space design.
