Analysis of Lighting Conditions for Tobacco Sorting Sites

Abstract：In order to do well in the revision of the standard project of"Technical Specifications for Tobacco Leaf Threshing and Redrying",China Tobacco Corporation has coordinated the Zhengzhou Tobacco Research Institute,9 national redrying companies and 8 cigarette manufacturing enterprises to gain a comprehensive understanding of the processing technology solutions and actual processing capabilities of the threshing and redrying enterprises related to the project's research content.This collaboration aims to ensure the standard formulation of science and applicability.It's an important revision part of the standard project to select field lighting conditions of"Tobacco Leaf Threshing and Redrying Process Specification".The report aims to support the lighting conditions for tobacco leaf sorting in the"Tobacco Leaf Threshing and Redrying Process Specification"standard project with data,which by analyzing the on-site test data of 12 redrying companies statistically.This study finds that for the light sources in the tobacco leaf selection area,it is advisable to use diffused natural light or artificially simulated natural light,and direct sunlight should be avoided.And the illuminance should be(1000±300)lx;the general color rendering index Ra should be≥80,and the color temperature should be controlled between 5000 K and 5800 K.
