Abstract：With the rapid development of urbanization,night lighting design has become a crucial component of urban cultural and tourist night activities.This trend has accelerated the evolution of lighting design towards a more intelligent,artistic,and interdisciplinary direction.The integration of urban culture and tourism has given rise to new missions,and the emergence of night tourism has propelled the upgrading of the landscape lighting field.In this new era,technological innovation and intelligent development serve as the engines for lighting design,contributing to the flourishing night tourism economy.The demand for traditional lighting design continues to rise,necessitating comprehensive integration in cultural and tourist night activities.This article analyzes the diverse applications of night lighting design in cultural and tourist night activities,focusing on the examples of the Zhangye Rainbow Danxia Scenic Area and the Qinhuai River in Nanjing.This multifaceted approach to night lighting design not only meets functional requirements but also injects new vitality into the city,enhancing its nighttime image and attractiveness.
