Abstract：In recent years,with the continuous breakthrough of lighting technology,the industry has rapidly moved from halogen lamps and xenon lamps to LED,laser and Micro-LED.In order to understand the development trend of automobile headlight technology at home and abroad,reveal the development direction of automobile headlight industry,research and formulate regional industrial innovation and development and patent layout strategy.Based on the IncoPat patent database,this paper combines patent information with the automotive headlight industry,and analyzes the patent situation of the global and Chinese automotive headlight industry from the perspectives of patent application trend,patent geographical distribution,patent applicant composition and patent technology layout,respectively,to provide a scientific reference for the development direction of China's automotive headlight industry.
