Comparative Research at Domestic and Foreign on Standard System for Degrees of Protection Provided by Enclosures of Lighting Products

Abstract：The degrees of protection provided by enclosures is an important indicator to measure the quality of lighting product.Based on the sorting out of domestic and foreign enclosures protection standards of lighting products,this paper compares the differences in the requirements of enclosures protection capabilities in different standards,analyzes the common problems of IP ratings of lighting products in China,and puts forward some suggestions on adding air tightness test to the enclosure protection standard system,so as to promote the quality improvement of lighting products in the research and development,manufacture and inspection of enclosure protection.
