Abstract:Built upon the context of LED lighting technology application within school classrooms, this study delves deeply into investigating the impact of varying grid sizes and placement methods on the illumination characteristics. The results distinctly indicate that different grid sizes and placement methods significantly influences the average illuminance and illumination uniformity of both the blackboard and desk surfaces within the classroom.Notably, employing the four-corner layout method for testing provides a more precise portrayal of the distribution of illuminance on the blackboard and desk surfaces, delivering a more authentic representation of illuminance uniformity.Upon analyzing the illuminance curve of desk surfaces,a noteworthy observation emerges—closer proximity to the sides yields a denser curve, coupled with a swifter rate of illuminance value reduction. This underscores the necessity, during the illumination design phase,to diligently account for illuminance distribution along the sides of desks, mitigating potential concerns that could impact students'visual acuity.
