Research on Lighting Environment of Underground Space Based on Natural Lighting

Abstract：The architectural concept has experienced the development of energy-saving building, green building and healthy building, and a series of active and passive technologies have been added to the architectural design to improve the architectural quality. In a high-density city, underground space can effectively reduce the burden on the ground, enrich the building functions and improve the urban environment. However, the traditional underground space is closed and dark, and can only provide necessary visual needs through artificial lighting. Natural lighting can be used to improve the light environment of underground space. On the one hand, sunlight, as a renewable energy source, can be green and environmentally friendly and reduce the energy consumption of artificial lighting. On the other hand, the non-visual effects of natural light can improve human comfort and promote health.
