Preparation and Packaging Properties of Sr2Si5N8∶Eu2+ Red Phosphor

Abstract：In this paper,Sr2Si5N8∶Eu2+ red phosphor was synthesized by high temperature solid state method,the properties of phosphor were improved effectively by optimizing synthetic process(sample 1) and doping trace element(sample 2). XRD and SEM were used for characterization. XRD result shows that there is no impurity phase in preparative phosphor with different technology and formula; SEM result shows that both optimizing synthetic process and doping trace element can improve the morphology and crystalline of phosphor. Sample 1,sample 2 and standard sample were prepared for packing test on the equal conditions,the luminous efficiency of sample 1 and sample 2 were improved 3. 38％ and 4. 03％ than standard sample,respectively,and the luminous attenuation of sample 1 and sample 2 were significantly decreased than standard sample after 500 h accelerated aging.
