Study on the Gas Pressure within High Color Tungsten Bromine Lamps
Abstract:Tungsten bromine lamps need to be filled into high-pressure filling gas to work. The high-pressure gas is used for heat conduction and suppressing evaporation of tungsten atoms. This high-pressure is greater than atmospheric pressure at room temperature; therefore the glass cannot be sealed without the help of liquid nitrogen. Many people hold that, the longer the lamp is frozen in liquid nitrogen, the more frozen gases within the lamp, and the greater the pressure to get after returning to room temperature. In the actual production, we found that, although frozen effect and time are related, there is a closer relationship between the frozen effect and the operation methods. The correct method of operation is the key to solving the problem.
