Research on the Testing Technology for LED Based on Talbot Effect
Abstract:Based on the Talbot effect, the differences of luminous flux, luminous efficacy and color temperature between the pulse width modulation (PWM) driving and the constant current driving LED has been researched. A dedicated test method is brought forward, and an additional test system is designed based on the existing test equipment. Test results show that the test method is useful and that PWM driving does have advantages in controlling the color temperature, but at the expense of its luminous efficacy, which should be paid attention in application.
