Research on the Effect of Ignitors on the Lifetime of Ceramic Metal Halide Lamps
Abstract：Through the research on the operation status of ceramic metal halide lamps with magnetic ballasts, the reasons for short lifetime, stroboscopic effect are found out. The research results demonstrate that using a electronic device to automatically disconnect the ignitor from the lighting circuit after lamp startup, could improve lamp lifetime.
