The Fully Dimming Technology of Fluorescent Lamp with Magnetic Ballast
Abstract：To realize the 0 - 100% dimmer of fluorescent lamp with magnetic ballast, we firstly sample the AC zero crossing signal and determine the delay time according to the given luminance signal, and make the ballast not to connect to the AC power supply during the delay time. With delay time corresponding to lamp luminance, the design changes the luminance by phase modulation. In addition, we also adopt the measures of lamp pre-heating and high voltage stimulating to ensure lamp can be lightened at even extra-low current.
