Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with infection of Aspergillus fumigatus and Rhizomucor pusillus:a case report and literature review

Abstract:The patient,a 60-year-old woman,was admitted to the hospital with chronic cough and sputum with dyspnea for 20 years,which had worsened in the past 2 months.Initially,broad-spectrum antibiotic piperacillin tazobactam was used for anti-infective treatment,and then Aspergillus fumigatus infection was diagnosed according to the results of the pathogenicity test,and voriconazole antifungal treatment was immediately added;because of recurrent fever and review of pathogenicity,and the results suggested that Rhizomucor pusillus infection,and then combined with amphotericin B antifungal treatment,and then the temperature returned to normal,and the condition gradually improved,but renal insufficiency was triggered after 2 weeks of anti-infective treatment,and the antifungal program was adjusted.After 2 weeks of anti-infection treatment,renal insufficiency was induced,and the antifungal regimen was adjusted,amphotericin B was stopped,and isavuconazole was added,and the clinical symptoms gradually improved.
