A case of rhinomycosis caused by Fusarium solani treated by natamycin combined with voriconazole

Abstract:A 32-year-old male patient with Philadelphia chromosome positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia was re-ported.After complete remission of chemotherapy,related haploidentical hematopoietic stem cell transplantation was per-formed.67 days after transplantation,a large number of black dry scabs were found in the nasal cavity,and the secretion and black scab culture results were Fusarium solani.He was diagnosed as a rare nasal Fusarium infection in combination with clinical diagnosis.By summarizing the literatures,the only 6 cases in China were analyzed.Nasal infection was con-trolled after local natamycin application combined with systemic voriconazole treatment.No invasive infection in other parts and disseminated infection in the whole body occurred.
