Three cases of severe pneumonia caused by Trichosporon asahii and literature review

Abstract：Trichosporon asahii,which can cause superficial and invasive infections,primarily affecting immunocompro-mised hosts with potentially fatal consequences.Three cases of pulmonary infection caused by Trichosporon asahii in pa-tients with immune dysfunction were reported.Three patients were treated with voriconazole and eventually dying of system-ic multiple organ failure.
