Itraconazole capsules combined with fractional laser and photodynamic therapy in Candida parapsilosis treatment:A case report

Abstract：A 59-year-old man presented with skin nodules,ulceration,and necrosis on both upper limbs for more than 6 months.After dermatoscopy,pathological examination of skin lesions,special staining,fungal culture,and DNA pathogenic microbial metagenomic testing,it was confirmed as Candida parapsilosis.He was treated with itraconazole capsules,com-pound glycyrrhizin tablets,fractional laser combined with photodynamic therapy for 3 times,and the skin lesions were healed after 6 weeks.
