National Survey on the Construction Status of Provincial-Level Healthcare Quality Control Centers in Mental Health in China

Abstract：Objective To investigate the status of provincial center for healthcare quality management in mental health across China.Methods A self-designed questionnaire was used to survey the basic information,institutional systems,and medicine quality control practices of provincial-level psychiatric medicine quality control centers.Results Except for the Tibet,provincial-level psychiatric medicine quality control centers have been established in 30 provinces,with 35 healthcare institutions responsible for their operation.Among these,20(57.1%)institutions had dedicated staff,and 14(46.7%)received special financial support from authorities in 2024.Conclusion The organizational framework for provincial-level psychiatric medicine quality management has been preliminarily established,though regional disparities persist in personnel and funding support.Further policy reinforcement and resource allocation remain necessary to strengthen the system.
