Review of Implementation Status of Essential Medicine System in China
Abstract：China implemented the national essential medicine system formally in 2009.For nearly 8 years,national essential medicine system has been improved.The implementation of essential medicine system has certain effects in China,such that medicine price has reduced,and medical expenses burden reduced gradually.But there are still some problems,including that essential medicine list can not meet people's needs,inadequate financial compensation,the level of knowledge of national essential medicine system is low,essential medicines exists shortage problem.Based on descriptive summary of the present situation,the paper analyzes problems of the implementation of national essential medicine system and gives some reasonable policy recommendations,so as to promote the sustainable development of the national essential medicine system.
