Study on Governmental Compensation for Public Hospitals Based on "Zero Pharmaceutical Mark-up Policy"
Abstract：Objective To adjust the governmental compensation for public hospitals owned by one district of Shanghai.Methods Study data were collected from the statistical materials and questionnaire survey of all 17 public hospitals owned by one district of Shanghai.Through the interview of focus group,the opinion of government compensation schedule of hospital director and related government managers was understood.Results Based on data analysis and expert consultation,the objectives,principles,mechanism and scheme of governmental compensation for public hospitals owned by one district of Shanghai is made based on "zero pharmaceutical mark-up policy".Conclusion Overall,the governmental compensation for public hospitals owned by one district of Shanghai meets the requirements of further public hospital reform in China.This will facilitate the healthy and steady development of the public hospitals.
