Study on the Factors and Strategies of Providing Telemedicine in County-level Hospitals in Western China
Abstract：Objective To study the demand and status of telemedicine in western rural China to provide strategies for telemedicine development in western area.Method Doing questionnaire survey on 153 physicians in a county in Yunnan Province.Result 81.7％ physicians are willing to provide telemedicine,while 15.0％ are providing such service.Medical quality,infrastructure and training are the main considerations.Conclusion There is a huge gap between the willingness and the status to provide telemedicine in western rural China.The government should promote legislation,establish the diagnosis and treatment norms and regulatory system,build the service system,and strengthen the training.
