ITS Analysis of the Effect of Clinical Pathway Reform on Transient Ischemic Attack Patients
Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of implementing the reform of Clinical Pathway on transient ischemic attack (TIA) patients,including medicine,inspection and hospitalization days.Method Using interrupted time series analysis method (ITS) to analyze the cost of materials and hospitalization days of TIA patients who were hospitalized from December,2012 to May,2015.Results The inspection and hospitalization days decreased significantly,and medicine cost decreased too,but the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion The implementation of Clinical Path reform has a positive effect on shortening the length of hospital stay and controlling medical expenses.
