Study on the Malmquist Index of Operating Efficiency in Tertiary Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospitals in Beijing
Abstract：Objective To analyze the situation of the overall operating efficiency and TCM services providence operating efficiency in 13 tertiary TCM hospitals in Beijing,as well as to analyze the influence factors.Methods Analyzing the situation of various indexes through Descriptive Method,and the operating efficiency and its changing trend with Malmquist in DEA.Results From 2012 to 2014,the general situation and TCM service technology of tertiary TCM hos-pitals have shown improved or unchanged.Differences in efficiency of each hospital are significant.Conclusion TCM servicesefficiency is lower than the general operating efficiency in TCM hospitals.Technology improves slowly in most hospi-tals and it's a favorable factor for TFP increasing.Efficiency reduction is the main reason for TFP reduction.
