Present Situation and Influencing Factors of Workplace Violence in County-level Hospitals
Abstract：Objective To understand the epidemic characteristics and analyze the causes of workplace violence of the doctors in county-level hospitals,and put forward the corresponding preventive strategies to prevent and reduce the occurrence of workplace violence.Methods Using self-designed questionnaires to collect the data from 90 county-level hospitals in China's eastern,central and western regions,and a total of 5 842 valid questionnaires were collected and effective recovery rate was 81.91 ％.Results The total incidence rate of workplace violence was 69.38％ in county-level hospitals;logistic regression analysis showed that the doctors' gender,age,education level,monthly income,the department and work experience were the influencing factors of workplace violence.Conclusion The overall incidence rate of workplace violence is relatively high.It is suggested that the relevant departments should increase the intervention strategies for the workplace violence in hospitals and maintain the normal order of the hospital,to provide a good working environment for doctors.
