Abstract:Long noncoding RNA(lncRNA)has been found to play an important role in regulating the occurrence and development of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma(HNSCC).LncRNA can act as either an oncogene or a tumor suppressor, influencing the proliferation, invasion, migration, and chemoresistance of HNSCC.This article reviews the recent research progress on lncRNA related to HNSCC.LncRNA in body fluids has the potential to become a non-invasive biomarker, and antisense oligonucleotides and engineered exosomes targeting specific lncRNA may emerge as focal points.
