Abstract:Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of the combined detection of serum S-phase kinase-related protease 2(SKP2),human growth differentiation factor 3(GDF3),stromal cell-derived factor-1(SDF-1)for breast cancer(BC).Methods Ninety cases BC patients(research group)admitted to the Army 81st Group Hospital from May 2022 to April 2024 were regarded as subjects, and clinical and pathological characteristics of the patients were collected;another 90 cases patients with benign breast lesions admitted during the same period were regarded as the control group.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was applied to detect serum levels of SKP2,GDF3,and SDF-1,and the relationship between their levels and clinical pathological features was analyzed;receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was plotted to evaluate the diagnostic value of serum SKP2,GDF3,and SDF-1 levels for BC.Results The serum levels of SKP2,GDF3,and SDF-1 in the research group were greatly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and their levels were related to TNM staging, lymph node metastasis, and Ki-67 expression(P<0.05).The AUC of serum SKP2,GDF3,and SDF-1 alone in diagnosing the occurrence of BC was 0.822,0.809,0.850,the AUC for the combined diagnosis was 0.933,respectively,and the combined diagnosis was superior to single diagnosis(Z triple combination-SKP2=3.525,P<0.001,Z triple combination-GDF3=4.435,P<0.001,Z triple combination-SDF-1=3.363,P=0.001).Conclusions The combined detection of serum SKP2,GDF3,and SDF-1 has a high diagnostic efficacy for BC,and it has certain clinical value as a potential diagnostic tool for BC.
