Abstract:In response to persistent challenges in gastric cancer management—including low early detection rates, reliance on physician experience, and fragmented information utilization—large language models(LLMs)offer a promising avenue for clinical paradigm transformation. This study systematically explores the integration of LLMs across the entire clinical workflow, including risk identification, diagnostic support, treatment recommendations, postoperative management,follow-up optimization, and medical documentation.Drawing on real-world implementation within the Department of Gastric Surgery at Liaoning Cancer Hospital, the paper demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of LLMs in enhancing efficiency, strengthening decision-making,and improving patient outcomes, while also addressing their future potential and associated challenges in the development of intelligent medical systems.
