Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of nutritional pre-intervention on postoperative nutritional status, serum immunoglobulins and peripheral blood CD4+/CD8+in colorectal cancer patients undergoing radical surgery. Methods A total of patients with colorectal cancer admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected, which were randomly divided into intervention group(41 cases)and control group(38 cases). The control group was given conventional nutrition intervention during perioperative period, and the intervention group was given pre-intervention based on conventional nutrition intervention.Nutritional indexes, serum immunoglobulin(Ig),peripheral blood T-lymphocyte subsets, nutritional risk screening score(NRS 2002),the Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment(PG-SGA),anal exhaust time, postoperative hospital stay, and complications within 7days after surgery were compared between the two groups. Results The serum levels of total protein(TP),albumin(ALB),prealbumin(PAB),transferrin(TRF)and hemoglobin(Hb)in the nutrition intervention group were higher than those in the control group at 3 and 7 days after surgery, and the serum levels of TP,ALB,PAB,TRF and Hb in the nutrition intervention group were higher than those in the control group at 7 days after surgery(P<0.05).Serum IgG,IgA and IgM levels, and peripheral blood CD4+and CD4+/CD8+levels of the difference between preoperative and postoperative 7 days in the intervention group were higher(P<0.05);NRS 2002 scores and PG-SGA of the difference between preoperative and postoperative 7 days in the intervention group were lower(P<0.05);Anal exhaust time and postoperative hospital stay of the intervention group were shorter(P<0.05);The incidence rates of complications in the intervention group and the control group within 7 days after surgery were 2.44%and 10.53%,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusions Nutritional pre-intervention can improve the nutritional status of colorectal cancer surgery patients, enhance immune functionand accelerate intestinal function recovery.
