Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression of p53 and mutant p53 (mutp53) protein in patients with lung cancer complicated with lung infection, and to analyze the relationship with the degree of lung infection. Methods A total of 100 lung cancer patients admitted to Guangyuan City Central Hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 were taken as the research subjects, and relevant examinations were carried out after admission, and 62 patients with complicated lung infection were included in the infection group and 38 patients without lung infection were included in the infection group according to the test results. The clinical data of the patients were collected, and the expression of p53 and mutant p53 ( mutp53) protein in all patients was detected by immunohistochemistry, and the correlation between the expression of p53 and mutp53 and lung infection was analyzed by Spearman correlation.ROC curve was drawn to evaluate the diagnostic value of positive p53 protein and mutp53 protein in lung cancer complicated with lung infection. Results The positive expression rates of p53 protein and mutp53 protein in infected group were significantly higher than those in non-infected group ( P<0.05 ) .Spearman correlation coefficient analysis showed that positive p53 protein and positive mutp53 protein were positively correlated with lung cancer infection (r=0.685,0.577,P<0.05).ROC curve showed that the AUC of positive p53 protein and positive mutp53 protein in predicting lung cancer complicated with lung infection were 0.819 and 0.783,respectively,with sensitivity of 80.70% and 77.35%,and specificity of 78.56% and 75.25%.Conclusions The positive rate of p53 protein and mutp53 protein in patients with lung cancer complicated with lung infection is higher than that in patients without lung infection, which has a good diagnostic value for predicting lung cancer complicated with lung infection.
