Abstract:Objective To investigate the feasibility and recent clinical effect of laparoscopic resection of rectal cancer in primary hospital. Methods Retrospective analysis of 47 patients with rectal cancer in our hos-pital from January 2013 to January 2015 were randomly divided into two groups ( group A for laparoscopic sur-gery including 27 patients, group B for open surgery including 20 patients) patients, were compared with opera-tion time, intraoperative bleeding volume, lymph node cleaning count, postoperative exhaust time, hospitaliza-tion time, postoperative complications. Results Laparoscopy group was less than open surgery group in intraop-erative bleeding volume, postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery time, hospitalization time, incision in-fection(P<0. 05). Age,gender, type of surgery, tumor stage, pathological types, lymph nodes show no statistical significance between two groups(P>0. 05). Conclusion Laparoscopic resection of rectal cancer has the ad-vantages of less trauma and quick recovery. It’s safe and feasible, worth popularizing in primary hospitals.
