Analysis of the risk factors of postoperative arrhythmia in patients with esophageal carcinoma

Abstract：Objective To investigate the possible risk factors of postoperative arrhythmia in patients with e-sophageal carcinoma resection to provide a basis for prevention and treatment of arrhythmia. Methods We re-strospectively analyzed the data for 312 patients who underwent esophageal cancer in 2013. The risk factors of postoperative arrhythmia were studied by single and multiple factor analysis. Results The occurrence of ar-rhythmia after surgery is 15. 7% . The results of logistic regression analysis showed that arrhythmia was associat-ed with postoperative pulmonary dysfunction,and blood transfusion after surgery (P < 0. 05 for all). multiple re-gression analysis pointed out that postoperative pulmonary dysfunction was independent risk factor of postopera-tive arrhythmia. Conclusions Strengthening the management of respiratory tract makes for reducing the occur-rence of arrhythmia.
