Clinical research of drug intervention on the quality of life on patients with moderate or severe cancer pain

Abstract:Objective To investigate and analyze treatment effect and quality of life on 58 cases of patients with moderate and severe cancer pain.Methods 58 cases of patients with moderate or severe cancer pain were chosen to use three ladder analgesic drug rationally by the Brief Pain Inventory (BPI)and quality of life scale (QOL-C30)were obeserved.Clinical analysis were conducted before treatment,1 week after treatment and 1 month after treatment.Results NRS score after treatment in patients was lower than before treatment (P <0.05),pain relief total effective rate was 86.1%,86.1% respectively.The main adverse reactions of drug were constipation,nausea,vomiting,dysuria,sleepiness,pruritus,etc.The scores of six functional indicators of QOL-C30(the overall health evaluation and overall quality of life before and after treatment)were significant-ly different (P <0.05);the role function,cognitive function,overall health,and the evaluation of the overall quality of life after treatment(1 week after treatment and 1 month)existed significantly different(P <0.05). Conclusions Drug intervention is effective for moderate and severe cancer pain,digestive tract adverse reac-tion such as nausea,vomiting,constipation should not be ignored,the body function,emotional function and social function of quality of life should be focused for a long time.We should take appropriate measures to inter-vene it,and continually improve the overall quality of life of patients.
